This question was first raised after an Arbitron research came out that showed no signs of growth in the number of internet radio listeners.
An analysis of a separate media company revealed that there are more to expect about the future of the internet radio industry. There is so much focus on Pandora, which now has become the face of internet radio, that people have forgotten there is something beyond Pandora.
Reports reveal that internet radio isn’t really competing with local stations at all, but is in fact going up against other online services like Facebook, Twitter, and Hulu.
Do people spend less time listening to online radio or are they just dividing their time on different web services?
